Call for Proposed Bylaw Amendments
Greetings Sorors of the Great State of South Carolina: The South Carolina State Bylaws Committee is pleased to issue the official call for proposed amendments to the Ninth Edition of the South Carolina State Bylaws. Proposed amendments will be presented for consideration at the 2027 South Carolina State Leadership Conference in Greenville, South Carolina.
Who May Submit
Chapters in good standing are invited to review the current bylaws and submit proposed amendments. The Bylaws Committee may also submit amendments for consideration.
Submission Deadline
Proposed amendments must be submitted no later than February 15, 2027 at 11:59 PM EST. Late submissions will not be accepted.
A separate form must be completed for each proposed amendment.
Review of Proposed Amendments
All proposed amendments will be distributed to chapters no later than March 17, 2027.
Chapters are encouraged to review and discuss the amendments in advance so delegates are informed and prepared to vote on behalf of their chapters.
Bylaws Question & Answer (Q&A) Session
The Bylaws Committee will host a virtual Q&A session before the conference. Additional information regarding the Q&A session will be provided with the proposed amendments.
